WHITESIDE COUNTY, Ill.--These arrests are merely a charge and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.On January 15, Jacob C. Adolphson, age 33 of Rockford, was stopped on Interstate 88 for a traffic offense at milemarker 38.  He was subsequently arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and released with a Notice to Appear.  Illinois State Police assisted on scene.

On January 18, In Galt, Karen M. Cochran, age 51 of Milledgeville, was arrested by deputies for DUI – Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cannabis, and Driving While License Suspended.  She was processed at the Rock Falls Police Department and released with a Notice to Appear.  Rock Falls Police as well as Williams’ Auto Body and Towing assisted.

On January 19, At Avenue B and West 6th Street, Sterling, deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Jimmy Garcia, Junior, age 21 of Rock Falls, and he was arrested for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Disobeying a Stop Sign.  He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released with a Notice to Appear.  Sterling Police and Slim-n-Hank’s assisted on scene.

On January 20, Cam Lee James Boyer, age 23 of Sterling, was arrested on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and held pending an initial court appearance.

On January 20, Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a (2) vehicle crash on IL Route 78 at Covell Road, rural Morrison.  A vehicle driven by Sherri J. Boles, age 18 of Morrison, was westbound on Covell Road when she failed to stop at the posted stop sign.  Her vehicle struck a southbound vehicle on IL Route 78 driven by Neil A. Riccio, age 38 of Hampton, IL.  Boles and her passenger, Hannah L. Coyle, age 18 of Morrison, along with Riccio were all transported to Mercy Medical Center in Clinton for treatment of their injuries.  Boles was cited for Disobeying a Stop Sign.

Illinois State Police, Morrison EMS, Morrison Fire, Fulton Fire, Rick’s Auto Body and Towing, and Hunter’s Auto Body and Towing assisted on scene. 

On January 23, Sierra N. Piester, age 18 of Prophetstown, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended in Morrison. She was given a Notice to Appear with a Sterling court date of February 26, 2013 at 9:00 AM.
